Oddly enough, the theme for this upcoming weekend's Showdown is riding on the back of another great sporting event (that totally passed me by). This weekend, we kick off the Quidditch Showdown! All things Quidditch most heartily welcomed! Sweaty guys and gals, racing around a pitch on brooms! The excitement, the exhiliration, the foul play.

Just to reiterate some of the key-rules:
- do not start your Showdown entry before Friday
- your entry must be created on the Showdown weekend
- everyone is welcome
- you must have FUN!

I have decided what to do for my 100th Deviation. It is an idea that I've been pushing onto the backburner for several months now, but credit goes to =darksideup for jostling it loose. Drop me a line and we'll discuss your finder's fee.

(EDIT: Oh yeah, on that note, I am looking for a very specific mp3 for my 100th Deviation. If someone with *coughcough* access to many mp3s could help me out with this, I'd be much obliged. )

I gotta give a little shout-out to a new community *PotterShare. They have a rather kickass chatroom and interviews with some rather awesome HP fanartists (including the likes of ~gilll and *usagistu) have been planned. Your's truly has also consented to a Q&A session in the not too distant future (lord knows why...), so come get the lowdown on the Showdown mistress!
